“We have just returned from a wonderful stay in a fantastic part of Wales. The house was everything we hoped it would be, loads of room for 2 families and it was very well equipped. The house is situated in perfect place to explore the local area.Little Haven is a short drive / walk away and the children loved the local rubber duck race!! Marloe sands, recommended by Daniel, is the best beach i have ever been to -stunning! less busy than others as the access is a steep walk down but worth every step. Other places worth a visit are Folly Farm, Dale, Blue Lagoon water park and St Martins Haven from where we booked a boat trip around Skomer Island- but we were a week too late to see the famous puffins! A nice boat trip though.Daniel was an excellent host who responded quickly to all communication and querys we had. I would certainly recommend staying here – a great location for family holidays. Pembrokshire is a hidden gem.” “We had a fantastic week!! The farmhouse is beautiful and is a great space for relaxing in after enjoying days out in the beautiful surroundings! We would definitely recommend a trip to see the puffins and our little one would also throughly recommend a trip to folly farm!!!” Elizabeth and family (June 2018)
“Great house with lots of space, lovingly renovated – perfectly situated in Wales. Skomer Island, the Coastal Path, Picton Castle with a superb tour guide and of course the secret owl garden, Little Haven with its pubs … everything can be reached in a short time. We enjoyed it very much and Daniel is a very helpful host who provided many insights. Thanks for a fab holiday, we loved it!” Steffan and family (Germany) May 2018
“Great place to stay, underfloor heating was superb, lovely fireplaces, and great kitchen and games room. Close to all the beaches and everything you need. Daniel is a great host, very happy with our Easter hols Thanks !” Chris and family, London April 2018
“Wow what a great home from home, lots of space and very comfortable for a family of 6. If you get the opportunity to book it then don’t miss the chance. The kitchen is well equipped, there is loads of hot water and the under floor heating throughout the down stairs is perfect to come into after a cold spring walk. The two lounges are perfect, kids playing in one end of the house while us old ones sit in front of the wood burning stoves!! Daniel was a great host, answering any queries quickly. It’s a perfect place to just go and relax for a few days” Jon, London, March 2018
We had a fab nine days here in Glebe House in this wonderful location central to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: love the fires with real logs to burn, mixed with a few bottles of wine, the word ‘bliss’ comes to mind.’
Ross and Julie, November 2017
‘The house was a wonderful base for exploring Pembrokeshire. The house is beautiful and had everything that we needed for our family of six. The kitchen was well kitted out and there was a good selection of DVDs for the children. The pool table was also a big hit. The children had an amazing week and it was brilliant to return every evening after our adventures. You have a beautiful house with such wonderful features. It must have been a great labour of love. This has been my first experience of Airbnb and it won’t be my last after this week. We hope to return.’ Darragh and family (May 2017)
[Re: Last-minute Christmas 2017 availability] ‘Can thoroughly recommend this wonderful place! If i wasn’t already going to family i would not be able to resist. Lovely house, great walks a long coastal paths and couple great pubs in village.’ Alison, Hertfordshire

‘I have just looked on the website to try to book for next year same time [summer half-term] as we had such a lovely time but I see it’s booked. I’ve told so many people about the place after such a wonderful holiday I hope it’s not one of our friends that’s booked it!!’ Sarah (June 2017)
‘Daniel has been very thoughtful with the facilities. Separate living areas so you can chill out in front of a log fire while the more active guests play pool or watch TV . . . Little Haven is only one mile away with a few inns/restaurants and very quaint. Whole area and people very dog friendly . . . It’s mainly an area for walking (too many walks for a single visit) and dramatic coastlines . . . Definitely worth a return visit.’ Mark (October 2017)
‘Just to say we’ve all had an amazing time at Glebe House, I’m sure we’ll be back and will definitely recommend it to friends.’ Oli and family, August 2017
‘In the last week a total of 23 people have stayed here (and two dogs!) We have walked, swum, cycled, rode horses on the beach, visited several pubs, eaten the most amazing food cooked by my friends and all in all I have had the most splendiferous entry into my next decade . . . Thank you Dan, Helen and Glebe for making it possible. Oh and we drank one hell of a lot of prosecco and wine!’ Pippa, Ric and company (October 2017)
‘What a beautiful house and a wonderful local area – completely in love with Little Haven, even cooked some fresh live lobster.’ Price and Clifford Families, August 2017
‘A lovely cosy cottage where you feel at home straight away. The garden is lovely and secure for the dogs. Freshwater East and West are great beaches. The landlady at Freshwater Inn even gave the dogs a treat and you can take them in the restaurant. One of our favourite places is Poppit Sands. Will definitely book Glebe House again.’ Sheila and Russell, Glos (June 2017)

‘A house that ‘hugged us’ from the moment we stepped through the door: warm, comfortable and welcoming feel. We have loved walking to beaches and coastal paths, driving down country lanes, catching glimpses of beautiful countryside beyond the hedges. Lovely food at The Griffen at Dale and The Castle in Little Haven. Lots to do even in February. Then coming back to Glebe to relax and refresh. Just what we needed and more. ‘Fantastic holiday, amazing house! . . . A perfect stay in Talbenny. The house has been beautifully and painstakingly renovated with huge attention to detail and is very comfortable indeed. The facilities in the house are excellent. Talbenny itself is incredibly peaceful, yet within easy walking or driving distance of Little and Broadhaven where there are good pubs and beaches. Daniel was a very friendly and communicative host who made sure our arrival and departure couldn’t have been easier. I’d highly recommend this Air BnB to anybody looking to stay in Pembrokeshire. ‘ Dennison and Hunt families (Norwich and Binley)
‘We’ve had a super time and walked most of the coast! Started at St Brides yesterday by accident (it was meant to be the Martins Haven circular walk) …..walked to Marloes Beach….sooooooo beautiful! Dogs fell straight to sleep in their pen when got back and we nestled in front of the fire. Perfect! OMG- wish i could come back!
🙂‘ Alison (Hertfordshire)
‘Huge thanks to Daniel Butler and a shout out for his fabulous holiday home,https://www.glebeholidays.co.uk: a great time in a beautiful house. The coastal foraging was great, we even found fungi and the area is just so rich in history and full of fun things too.’ Carol and Ollie (Alsace)
‘We’ve had an incredible week here. You even managed to lay on gorgeous sunshine for us! Skomer Island, crabbing in Solva, Pembroke and Manorbier Castles, plus a lovely meal at The Swan in Little Haven. All in all a super duper time – we love the house! [Visitor book] . . . We had a lovely stay in Glebe in the first week of April 2017. Loads of space, very well stocked kitchen and nice garden for the kids to play in. Great base to explore the delights of Pembrokeshire. We loved going crabbing in Solva, visiting Pembroke and Manorbier Castles (and the lumps and bumps of nearby Walwyn’s Castle), visiting Skomer Island to see the puffins and luckily some dolphins, and also going coasteering and kayaking! Highly recommend.’ [Facebook] Jess, Rob and Freya
‘What a lovely house in a lovely part of the world. Thank you! We enjoyed everything [Visitor book] . . . We had a lovely stay in April. That part of Pembrokeshire is so beautiful – if the sun is shining it rivals anywhere else in the world. My personal favourites are the cathedral at St David’s, the harbour at Solva, the boat trip round Skomer and a day trip to the resort of Tenby but the nearby beaches of Little Haven and Broad Haven are beautiful too. The house is great – a lovely size with a brilliantly equipped kitchen and fast wifi. I appreciated the second living room so that my kids could be noisy in the morning without waking up the whole house and the garden is lovely. If there is a criticism it is that the garden lawn is prickly which was not great for my crawling baby but fine for anyone who doesn’t crawl to get around! Thanks Dan, we had a great time.’ [Facebook] Ellie, Richard, Connie, Leo and Alex
‘Beautiful cottage, home from home. We loved exploring the area. We look forward to returning. Thank you.’ Hannah, Cain, Zoe and Felix (and a few visitors)

‘Great family reunion in a lovely house and beautiful Pembrokeshire. Can’t wait to come back!’ Mazzey/Humphries families, Essex and Pennsylvania
‘Lovely, well equipped house that was bigger than expected on the groundfloor. The house has been renovated to a very high standard. One of our party is disabled and the groundfloor was tremendous for accessability, including the downstairs bathroom. It is a great location for coastal walking. Daniel was very helpful over the phone and by email. Excellent value for money.’ Peter, Oxford
‘Lovely well-equipped house. We had good meals at The Swan in Little Haven and The Griffin at Dale (excellent fresh fish). Enjoyed pony trekking on the beach, visits to St Davids, Tenby and Pembroke Castle and many lovely walks on various beaches with the dog.’ King Family, London (Guest Book)
“We loved the restored farmhouse with its stone floors and large garden. It was well equipped and perfectly placed for traveling to the beautiful coastline Pembroke has to offer. We found lots to do, including horse riding on the beach and enjoyed some exceptional meals at pubs in the nearby coastal villages . . .
“We all loved the information on the restoration especially my son who is an engineer. It is really well equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. The stone floors are perfect for the dog.” King Family, London (Air BnB review)
Delighted to say our autumn half-term guests posted a five-star review on Facebook halfway through their week’s stay – which also shows the Wifi is working!
